Why Opal?
October has always felt like a month of transition. There’s a little bit of magic in the air, the leaves are starting to change colors, that golden hour light starts to shine a bit brighter, and you get the feeling of stepping into a new season.
It also happens to be the month represented by one of our favorite gemstones, which is the beautiful opal.
Opal is the traditional birthstone of October, known for its beautiful play-of-color and its ability to reflect an entire rainbow within a single stone.
But beyond its beauty, opal has a beautiful history of symbolism. It has long been associated with hope, purity, and truth, making it a gemstone that feels especially meaningful to wear and to give.
We loved the idea of creating a collection that wasn't just beautiful, but carried a little meaning with it, too.
